Today, Google released the results of their eye-tracking study through a blog post on their official blog. In the blog entry Google explains how they used the eye-tracking study to tweak the user interface of its search pages. Google also posted a short video (embedded below) demonstrating how most peoples’ eyes scan through search results.

The short eye-tracking video produced by Google might be worth showing to your students before they begin to create their next digital presentation. Particularly, if your students are creating digital presentations that include large amounts of text, this video is worth showing and discussing for a few minutes.
