Lifehaps is a new tool for making personal timelines. Lifehaps can be used to make a timeline of your life or of your family. The user interface on Lifehaps is a very simple drag and drop design. Users select from a list of event types and then drag that event type to the timeline. Once an event is placed on the timeline users can then add details with images and text to the event.

When I was a student it seemed that every fall throughout elementary and middle school we had to write autobiographies. Making a personal timeline was sometimes a part of that process. Lifehaps is a simple and easy tool that students can use to create their own timelines. Building a timeline is a good way for students to organize their thoughts and the stories that they’re planning to write.
