My Teacher, My Hero is a new website launching on Tuesday, September 8th. The purpose of My Teacher, My Hero is to provide a forum for people to publicly thank the teachers that have made a difference in their lives. Through the site you can upload a video thanking your favorite teacher and telling the world what made your favorite teacher an influence on your life. When the site goes live, I plan to add something about James Hilbie who was my middle school band teacher. If you visit the site now you can see some videos from accomplished people including Seth Godin and Dominique Moceanu.

Applications for Education
Most teachers have a moment or two in their careers when they wonder if what they’re doing is working and or worthwhile. To counteract those moments, a quick visit to My Teacher, My Hero should remind us that we are making a difference in the lives of our students.
