Lyrics Gaps is a new service that aims to help users learn a language through song. Lyrics Gaps hosts songs that you can listen to and read the lyrics of. Each song has a few activities accompanying it. The activities ask you to fill in the blanks in the songs with the correct word or words that are missing. There are currently activities available in ten languages. Lyrics Gaps encourages registered users to develop and contribute their own activities in the user community.

Applications for Education
Lyrics Gaps could be a fun way for students to practice their listening skills and writing skills in the language that they are studying. I’m not sure that Lyrics Gaps provides the most rigorous of activities, but it would make a nice break from traditional language practice activities.
