The Constitution is not just a historical artifact; it is a living, breathing entity that governs the structure and function of our government to this very day. As educators, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the Constitution is one of the most significant gifts we can bestow upon our students.

To use this activity, first give a brief discussion on the Constitution and how it set forth the structure for our government over 230 years. Then assign the activity and allow 15 – 20 minutes for completion. After the activity, hold a class discussion to go over the answers and encourage students to reflect on what they learned.
