Made in the Cloud Video Contest Finalists Announced

As you may remember, back in May Rushton Hurley and I launched the Next Vista for Learning/ Free Technology for Teachers Made In The Cloud video contest. Today, we are happy to announce the finalists for the student division and for the teacher division.

For the students, here are the four finalists:
How to Use Picnik (Capac Jr./Sr. High School, Capac, MI)
Balancing Chemical Equations (Capac Jr./Sr. High School, Capac, M)
Mathboarding (Billings Middle School, Seattle, WA)
Gentrification (Cesar Chavez Preparatory Charter School, Washington, DC)

For the teachers, here are the five finalists:

The Bill of Rights, by Karen Larson (St. Mary’s School, Los Gatos, CA)

Longitude and Latitude, by Joy Chien (Fallon Middle School, Dublin, CA)

The winners will be selected at the 21st Century Learning Symposium in Port Huron, Michigan, this Thursday by the attendees.
