Library of 60+ Short US History Videos

The Glencoe/McGraw Hill Companies publish a commonly used US History textbook titled The American Journey Modern Times. To accompany that textbook Glencoe/ McGraw Hill hosts an online video library containing more than five dozen titles. The video library begins with titles about Antebellum US History through the beginning of the 21st century. Each video is two to three minutes long. The videos can be viewed online even if you haven’t purchased the textbook.

Applications for Education

The American Journey Modern Times video library provides videos that could be used short introductions or reviews of eras and concepts in US History. The only drawback to the videos is that they cannot be embedded into your blog so you will have to give students a direct link to each video.
