The other day someone asked me, via Twitter, for creative ideas for spending $2,000 ear-marked for a/v equipment. My short answer is a to buy Flip Cameras that students can use for video projects. With a Flip camera students could record video footage for all subjects across the curriculum. I’ve seen videos made by anatomy & physiology students demonstrating movements, videos of mathematics students sharing “math tricks,” and all kinds of skits and re-enactments recorded on video. That’s what I’d do, but I’m curious, if you were given $2,000 to spend on educational technology, what would you spend it on? Please leave a comment.
