Week in Review – The Most Popular Posts

Compared to the same week last month, this week there was marked increase in traffic to Free Technology for Teachers. I’d like to think it is the fancy new blog header that is responsible for the traffic, but a more likely explanation is that more teachers are beginning to think about the fall and beginning of the new school year. And this informal poll also indicates that one month before school starts is when roughly one-third of us start to think about the new school year. So if you’re one of those teachers just returning to Free Technology for Teachers after a summer break, welcome back.

Here are the seven most popular items of the last week:
1. 3 Web-based Tools for Creating Screencast Videos
2. Nook Study – Free Study Tool from Barnes & Noble
3. Two Good Free Guides to Digital Photography
4. Free Video Lectures
5. View Pure – View YouTube Without the Clutter
6. Moonbase Alpha – NASA’s New Role Playing Game
7. Maps ETC – 5000+ Historical Maps

Thank you to everyone that helped spread the word about the great resources listed above. Together we can help spread the word to other teachers about the great free resources that can make our students’ learning experiences better.
